workshop 3 days
the yellow path
The workshop includes: Elements of tango, day hike, breathing exercises, listening exercises, problem solving, composition tasks, and performance - expressing emotions. All content will be informed by practical exercises with the purpose of helping you to increase presence and consciousness. Reflections, individually, and in group, are also important ingredients.
This workshop is for you who are curious and want to test new things, and get a first experience of walking the yellow path, which we describe as a Joyful Journey of Authentic Self-Development through Holistic Self-Actualization. Exactly what this means is something that we explore together according to the principle that learning goes both ways, we need to both teach and learn, and we learn from each other.
The included segments in the workshop called Elements of tango will fit everyone, both beginners as well as experienced tango dancers.
The workshop will be held in Swedish and English.
The outline schedule
Day 1 9.00-17.00 indoors
Day 2 8.00-17.00 hike

why?
Tango is a rich music, dance and art form with a strong philosophy that transcends age, gender, sexuality, economic, religious and national boundaries offering a holistic encounter with life and human connections.
We recognize tango as a multi-level experience.
To compose is to put together, to structure different ingredients, to create a form and a content. It can be about music, poetry, pictures, film, dance, performance, food, travels, events,
life
We recognize composition as a multi-level experience.
when i am out hiking
i come up with things
well, that’s obvious
still, i forget
and am reminded when i’m out
when i am out hiking i come up with things
see from a new perspective
fresh air, fresh thoughts, movement
new motion in my thoughts
deliberation
the old aerates, clears away
